toile de jouy

I really like toile. I think it looks amazing in the right setting. My favorite look for toile is to mix it with flea market finds to create a lived-in glamorous look.

This Thibaut print is so great. It's a little tongue-in-cheek to me. The large scale + monochromatic pallet keeps it crisp and simple.

The number of patterns in this room is kind of amazing. The pallet is simple enough to keep all the patterns from drowning each other out, and the classic prints balance the animal print well.

This... is a lot of toile. It's still beautiful, but too much?
Do you love toile? Hate it?

Love Toile. Used to have a lot more in my home...slowly fading away, as I am a rolling stone and am always changing things up.
Still a classic look.
Thanks for the classy shots.

hmmm pretty. I love it. I love saying it too! It's a fun word. I like it most when it's mixed with graphic patterns. Toile is a classic.
